My Hot Wuppa

Lucky has been coming in from outside hot and worn out, now that the warm weather has set in. I have been rough housing with him as usual, but he is not taking it very well. He has been snappy, and very hard to deal with. So, after getting almost bitten, I decided to give him an ice cube to cool him off. It worked like magic.

In no time, Lucky was back to his happy-go-(lucky) self, and was frolicking and having a good time. I figured that heat affects the dog's mood, so if your dog is hot and sweaty, don't bother him/her. Give your dog an ice cube or 2, and watch their mood change. It's really good. It refreshes their whole body and keeps them from dripping saliva all over the place.

Also make sure your dog gets outside enough. While it might make him hot and sweaty, it gives him a lot of fresh air. It gives him good exercise, and makes sure he is in shape. You'll never have a fat dog if you put your dog out for a nice run in the yard or park once a day.
