IPOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am super excited because two days ago, my Dad bought me my dream item- an iPod touch! I have gotten tons of apps already, and I am working on downloading music. I can go on to the internet with it, and play games, and- I can read my Think a Thought as well! I have headphones, a cover, and even an annoying screen for when I am not using it- ( I barely use it, it is so annoying to get on and off. )

Ever since I found out about them, I have wanted an iPod. They are entertaining and fun, with tons of apps, both free and paid, to choose from. You can download music from iTunes and carry it around with you, no matter where you are. You can get pretty much any game app wherever you are, even in a car, but some of them require internet, so unless you know everyone in the area's networks, you are stuck.

My Recommended List Of Apps:
Family Feud- A fun guessing game that tests your wits against other people's- or in this case, other families!

Temple Run- If jumping, sliding, turning and dodging are your thing, then Temple Run is the game for you! You must dodge through a temple while keeping away from vicious man-eating monkeys and collecting coins to buy power-ups and collect the golden idol.
 
Ghoul Box- If you are a monster high fan, then this is for you! The ghoul box includes creepy sounds, and underwater camera, and a message encoder.

Pet Shop Story- Though this app requires internet, it is quite fun to play. You own a pet store, and you must gain money to earn pets to show to your visitors. There are rewards daily, and different quests for you to partake in.

Jennette McCurdy

Jennette McCurdy
Jennette is a country/pop singer and actress, best known for her role as the hilarious Sam Puckett on Nickelodeon's iCarly. She was born and raised in Garden Grove, California. She started her acting career at age eight in 2011, and from there, starred in many TV shows. in 2008, she was cast as Sam Puckett, co-starring with Miranda Cosgrove on iCarly.

She was nominated for a Young Artist Award for her work on iCarly, and also for her role in The Last Day Of Summer. In the June of the same year, she posted on her official website that she was working on a music career and that she had released her first song, ' So Close'. Her second song was ' Homeless Heart', dedicated to a boy named Cody Waters, who died at an early age from brain cancer.

Jennette has done a lot to help St. Jude's Children hospital. She works her best to try to make kids who are very sick happy still, as her mom has been fighting cancer for years.

Sam Puckett
Sam is played by Jennette McCurdy. She is a comical sidekick of Carly Shay's on the show iCarly. Sam is a meat lover, and will do anything for it. Her personality is tomboyish, and she loves to play pranks and get into fights. It has, in late episodes of iCarly, been revealed that Sam has always had a crush on Freddie. She tends to be mean towards anyone who takes a liking to him.

Wizard101 Diaries- New!!!!!

I have decided to on occasion post a Wizard101 Diary page, telling of my monthly adventures in Wizard World. It will mainly revolve around me and my Dad's characters, Marissa Mooncloud and Valerian Stormfist. It will tell of our current adventures, and what level we are, etc. It will also include new pet announcements, and  house announcements. Below are the profiles:

He currently works on finishing Krokotopia and moving into Marleybone.

Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande



Ariana Grande was born and raised in Boca Raton, Florida. In 2008, when she was just 15, she made her debut on Broadway as Charlotte in the musical 13, alongside Elizabeth Gillies, who would also go on to be in Victorious. She won the National Youth Theater Association Award for her role. When the musical opened, Ariana left her high school, but continued to study with tutors in her spare time.

In May 2010, she was cast as the role of Cat Valentine on the Nickelodeon show Victorious, for which she gained much attention. She also gained her trademark red hair from the show, as the director asked her to dye her hair so that the cast would not be all brunette. Victorious also gave her a head start on her music career.

While she is working on her solo career and writing her own music, Ariana has done covers of many songs, including:

Cat Valentine:

Ariana Grande plays the part of Cat on a show called Victorious. Cat is ditzy, light-headed, and kind. She often doesn't understand things, and when she doesn't, she yells: ' What's that supposed to mean!?!' almost angrily at whoever confused her. She also has a tendency to say 'KK' instead of 'OK'. She also is obsessed with wierd things, such as Jupiter Boots ( Bouncing Shoes ), an alarm necklace, and a bright keychain.

Having the mindset of almost a baby, she is distracted easily by shiny or pretty things. Her mood swings happen at in opportune times, so one minute she could be serious, the next minute she could be laughing and crazy. She is close friends with Tori, Robbie, Beck, and Andre. She is often intimidated and made fun of with Robbie by Jade.

Visit

I am super excited because in 2 weeks, my family is coming up for a visit! I am making my first communion soon, and that's why they are coming up. My aunt and uncle are only staying for a few days, but my Grandma is staying for about a month! So my Dad has been getting a room upstairs ready for her, and it is looking really good. We haven't put in the furnishings yet, but the room in general is clean.

I am really excited to show my Grandma all the stuff you can do up here. I hope she will enjoy her visit here. I think she will like it, and especially like our church. The shopping isn't as great as NJ, but it's ok. My aunt and uncle have visited before, so they know about the stuff we can do in the area. But as this is my Grandma's first time up here, I want to make it very special for her.

Now, back to Grandma's room. We don't have furniture for it yet, but we are heading to our local furniture store, Wood n' Things, tomorrow to get furniture. We are still working on clearing the room out so that it has room for furniture, and I must say it is looking good. We have figured out where the bed, etc. will go. The closet has also been cleared so that Grandma has a place to put clothing.

I can't possibly wait 2 whole weeks for all this excitement! Family visiting, First Communion, my sister's baptism, the after-party! I am so excited I will burst. Dad is also very excited about seeing his family, and I know that he will try to make it a great visit also. He has been working very hard to get Grandma's room to look good.

My Stupid Wuppa

This think a thought is all about how stupid my Lucky Guppa can be sometimes. He walks into any karate move me and Dad throw at him, from sidekicks to elbows. Whenever he wants attention, he will jump up on Dad's office chair, to be promptly elbowed, knife-handed, and sent to the ground. I can't believe he does it over and over again- but hey, he is a stupid Wuppa! What can you expect?

Lucky is also a terrible mooch. He will stroll into the room just as we are sitting down to eat, and will casually walk over to the table. He will sniff around for a minute, then plop down by Dad's chair and make puppy eyes. It is the funniest thing in the world. But then Dad takes him by the collar and puts him outside the gate. Who wants to look at a slobbery, drooling dog while they are eating?

Lucky has still not learned his lesson about staying put instead of coming when we call him. Whenever me ( and/or Dad) call him, he stays still with the look that says this: I'M-BEING-BAD-AND-I-KNOW-IT. Sometimes, I will go outside and shriek at him, but most times, I will yelp at Dad to get him in. One time, Lucky had to stay outside when we went to karate because he was being bad and not coming in. I guess he'll learn some day or another!

Lucky may be stupid sometimes, but all in all he is a big, gentle sweetheart. He will comfort you when you are upset, and will play with you if you are down. He plays at your level of play, not his own. For Dad, he goes rough. For me, he takes it down a notch. And for the baby, he puts on the OH-MY-GOD-SHE-IS-NEAR-ME face. ( I must say, that face is pretty funny. )

Victorious Cast

Today I am going to tell you about my favorite TV show, Victorious. It is mainly about the life of a girl named Tori Vega ( Victoria Justice), who attends a school for those gifted with acting. Here are the cast members, and what my opinion is about them:

Tori Vega ( Victoria Justice)- What I think about her in real life and on the show aren't much different.I know she is a great singer, but on the show she is also kind of funny. Rating: Awesome

Andre ( Leon Thomas III)- Andre is an extremely talented keyboardist, and is one of Tori's best friends. He, like most of the cast, is funny, but sadly, he is not at the top of my list for favorite characters. Rating: Just OK

Jade West (Elizabeth Gillies)- Jade HAS to be my favorite character. Even though she can be mean,she is funny about it.She is very comical. Just because she is mean to everyone is funny. Rating: Near Perfect

Cat Valentine ( Ariana Grande )- Cat is very weird and light-headed. Her weirdness can be funny, but most of the time, you just can't understand. Rating: Good

Robbie Shapiro ( Matt Bennett)- Robbie is kind of the school geek. He carries a ventriloquist's puppet that has a mind of it's own. The PUPPET is funnier than him. Sorry Robbie. You're just the school geek. Rating: Just OK

Beck Oliver ( Avan Jogia )- Beck is Jade's boyfriend. That's about it. He is pretty boring.Sure, he has good looks going for him,but looks can't save his funniness. Rating: Poor

Trina Vega ( Daniella Monet )- Trina is Tori's stuck up older sister. Shelives in Trina's World, were everything revolves around Trina. She is selfish and self-centered.Rating: Poor

Rex Powers- Rex is Robbie's comical puppet that is carried everywhere with him. Rex is treated like a normal human being. He is the funniest person on the show, by far. Rating: Almost Perfect

Lucky Story

Hi. It's me, Lucky. I have not been having a good week. Two days ago, I got porcupined. In the chin! It hurt a lot. My mistress noticed after a few minutes, and let me in. I was very thankful when my master came downstairs and pulled my quills out. Porcupine quills are very, very painful. It is the second time I have had them.

Today has been going good for me. I have mostly taken a nap, and played outside a little. It is beautiful out there! It's a little hot because of my coat, but nevertheless, beautiful. I have heard my mistress talk about my bath ... my least favorite thing!

Do you want to know WHY my bath is my least favorite thing? Because this is how the "bath" goes:
Mistress: Lucky, come here boy!
Me: Gets up and goes over.
I walk over like a good boy, and what do I get?! A bucket of water on my head!!!!!
Mistress: Good Boy!

Fibonacci

The Fibonacci number system springs from a man named Leonardo de Pisa. Most people call him Fibonacci.  Many years ago, he wrote a mathematics book, and in it, he wrote this question:
"A certain man put a pair of rabbits in a place surrounded by a
wall. How many pairs of rabbits can be produced from that pair
in a year if it is supposed that every month each pair begets a new pair from which
the second month on becomes productive?"
After some thinking on the question, Fibonacci came up with this sequence:
0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144…
This is what we call the Fibonacci sequence.

The Fibonacci numbers look something like what you see above.  The sequence repeats itself over and over again. If you look closely at the sequence above, you can see the pattern: add the number behind. An interesting fact about this very old sequence of numbers is that it also appears in nature. For example: Branches, ferns, pinecones, flowers, leaves, even snail shells!

Fibonacci numbers also appear in the description of the reproduction of a population of idealized honeybees, according to the following rules:
§  If an egg is laid by an unmated female, it hatches a male or drone bee.
§  If, however, an egg was fertilized by a male, it hatches a female.
Thus, a male bee will always have one parent, and a female bee will have two.
If one traces the ancestry of any male bee (1 bee), he has 1 parent (1 bee), 2 grandparents, 3 great-grandparents, 5 great-great-grandparents, and so forth. This sequence of numbers of ancestors is the famous and mind boggling Fibonacci sequence. The number of ancestors at each level is the number of female ancestors, which is Fn−1, plus the number of male ancestors, which is Fn−2. (This is under the unrealistic assumption that the ancestors at each level are otherwise unrelated.)

Lucky Puppy

Lucky has officially learned to bark! I was getting worried for awhile that he would be very silent, but in NJ, he got his ability to bark and growl! Now, when I put him outside on his chain, he will bark for help! I am pretty psyched about this.

Lucky has also learned a good few tricks. He can now do a new command: Kissies! ( Guess who taught him that one.) I have also been working on roll over. He is getting it, slowly but surely.

Anyway, as I promised the poem will be posted in a Think A Thought. So here is The Treasure in My Mind, by Mr. Wayne.

The Treasure In My Mind

Some men live life for money, and some quest after gold.
What's treasure to a young man, may not be when he's old.

In my twenties,I chased the dollar, real estate and gold.
In my thirties, it was stocks and bonds that I brought into the fold.

Now that I am older, it is memories I cherish.
Since they are the only thing that go with you when you perish.

So I hoard memories like a miser, and get more every day.
The treasure that is in my mind, makes life richer in every way.

Some men die with lots of money, and some with none at all.
It doesn't really matter, when Abaddon comes to call.

So I'll fill my head with memories, of happiness, life and love,
Because the treasures in my mind, are the only allowed above.

Think a Thought Delays

I am sorry about the delay in Think a Thought. A death occurred in the family, and I had a lot to do in the past 2 weeks. The funeral and wake took up the weekend, and I had a lot going on. NJ trips are usually relaxing and not stressful, but the death of my beloved Grandpa was tragic. On Sunday, the wake was held. Hundreds of people showed up to pay their last respects. Some I knew, but 3/4 were strangers. I was amazed.

Monday: The funeral. It was held at a small church, St. Mary's Chapel. Not as many people showed, but still, a lot came. I spoke a line from Job, and my aunt did a wonderful eulogy. Then, I got to ride in a limousine with my two great aunts, aunt, and grandma to go to the cemetery. After that was an after-ceremony at my aunt's house.

The rest of the week was pretty good. I went to the beach and collected tons of crab claws. I went shopping a couple of times for an Easter outfit. Lucky had a great time on THREE puppy playdates. Easter was very good as well. I had a great time in NJ this trip, but there have been better visits. Funerals and wakes do not add to a relaxation visit.
