Poems, Poems, and More Poems

The Lighthouse

The ship sails by,
The lighthouse glows,
The ship sails on,
But lighthouse knows,
That those who do not heed her glows,
They shall be lost forever.

Christmas Time

Snow and ice,
Sugar and spice,
Christmas time draws near,
Cookies dipped in sugar,
And apple pie with cream,
A bowl of mashed potatoes,
Can put you in a dream.
A turkey stuffed with stuffing,
Dances out of view,
Then mistletoe and holly,
Hung above a pew,
A midnight mass is stunning,
From a choir view.

The Forest Mountain

Deep in a forest,
Beyond the sky,
There is a place where you can fly,
Go to the mountaintop,
Up in the clouds,
Let your troubles go,
Free fall through a sky of blue,
And know that you won't hit,
When gravel bottom comes around,
You'll float right through the air.
