The Loch Ness Monster ... Fact or Fiction?

Almost everyone, even babies, know about the Loch Ness monster. Supposedly a sea creature, said to look like a plesiosaur, lives in Loch Ness, a lake in Scotland. The first sightings of Nessie were way back in the 7th century, first recorded by The Life of Saint Columbia by Adomnon. Then, in 1933, a journalist recorded sightings of the monster. Soon after, in 1934, the famous surgeon's photo came out, later proving to be a hoax. Many people have seemed to have evidence, but a lot of it is fake. Plenty of expeditions were led to find the monster, but no proof was found. Could a prehistoric monster be living in Loch Ness? Did one escape from the ocean before the loch became a loch? The loch used to be attatched to the ocean. Could a plesiosaur have slipped in before land cut the loch off from the ocean? Or did there used to be a plesiosaur, and it mixed breed? Many questions stand about this legendary monster, but no proof has ever surfaced. So what is the Loch Ness monster? Tourist trap, or creepy creature? Tourist trap seems a likely answer, as hotels and stores benefit from profits of tourists. Fact or fiction, real or not real, the Loch Ness monster may stay a mystery forever.
