Poetry

It's a battlefield
This game you wanna play
Ignore the warning signs,
And expect it to go your way.
You give no effort in anything
Yet expect me to give back
If you want to put in nothing,
I won't cut you any slack
Build up my walls,
Brick by crumbling brick
To keep you out,
Because you acted like a prick,
Just when the sledgehammer had barely broken through,
You had to be emotional and ruin everything, didn't you.
I'll block you out and make you cry,
I'll twist you 'til you want to die,
I'll take your mind and never set it free,,,
Then shut you out entirely.
