Hide behind illusion

Caught up in this confusion
Tell yourself you're ok
That everything will heal
But is this just one more excuse
To fool yourself into thinking you can feel?
Don't cloak yourself in lies
Don't try to hide from me
Because if you don't know yet
The truth is all that I can see
So please come clean
Don't make a mess
Don't lie to me,
It'll only cause stress
Stress is un-needed
Depressing and dumb
And at this point
I just want to have fun
So look up to the sky
Smile and be free
And don't ever again
Lie to me.
