Last night, I got on Wizard101 with my Dad to do some questing. We've been working on a hard dungeon in Marleybone for quite awhile with no hint of sucess. All of my friends have made excuses not to help us, and it's too hard for us alone (level 70 and 57's that we are, doing a level 30 quest) so we have been putting it off. We've tried each night but to no avail- we make it up to the last boss, but by then we are exhausted of health, mana AND healing potions so it is rather pointless. ESPECIALLY when the bosses all heal and get absorb shields if you heal!
Last night went a bit differently. My friend Megan agreed to help us out with the tower and we finished it in about an hour and a half. It took us all our potions, trading off to flee and get health, struggling through 12 levels of traps and cheating bosses, BUT! We made it! We completed the quest and were extremely happy about it- until I went to redeem my experience and found out that we only got 1000! That was like a slap in the face after how hard we had worked to get the dungeon done.
So in the end, Dad was displeased, I was displeased, and the dungeon FINALLY got done. One less quest in my quest tab, I guess. But it was so annoying! If you play Wizard101, tell me what your least favorite dungeon/boss is in Wizard101 in the comments below. My least favorite boss is Estrakir Gloomthorn.

Wizard101
Do I have any readers who play Wizard101? If so, leave your thoughts on the game in the comments... if not, check it out! It is a free-to-play family game, a multiplayer, and very fun. It DOES require download, but it has not given me any problems, and it has been installed to my computer for over 2 years now. Basic gameplay is free, but at a certain point you are given the option to pay for the rest of the game.
Well, I still have one more blog to do so I will end the post here.

Sports Jersey Junction
Alright, as you probably guessed, I am publicizing another one of my Dad's sites... but honestly, he does put a lot of hard work into them, so even if you aren't going to buy something go check it out and spread the word to your sports-loving friends. It would mean a lot to both me and my Dad.
Here is a part of one of my Dad's posts. To read more, please check his site.
Thanks,
Maddie
I’ll be the first to admit that I am not a Phillies fan. Growing up in Central New Jersey, you were either a Mets, Yankees or a Phillies fan. While I rooted for both the Mets and the Yankees (they were in different leagues after all), I could never stomach rooting for the Phillies. With that said, I can still appreciate some of the great players they had in my youth…Mike Schmidt, Steve Carlton, Larry Bowa, Greg Luzinski. I’m sure there are others too. Philly was just too far away though so I never bothered with them. For you Phillies fans, here are a couple of great deals to keep you coming back!

- Log onto Wizard101
- Find a good location that you want to take the picture in. I recommend a setting created using housing objects.
- Pose!
- Hit the "prtscn" button on your keyboard.
If you followed these instructions, a blue message should flash across the bottom of your screen saying where the image was stored, etc. etc.
Next, click on the "Wizard101 Facebook Page" button on this page. This should take you to the contest page. Enter, and then you just sit back and see if you win!
Good Luck to anyone who decides to enter!!!!

Wizard101
There is a new W101 pack out in the crowns shop, THE SKYVERN'S HOARD! The skyvern hoard gives you a chance to win new Azteca themed gear and weapons, the brand new velociraptor pet, and the ultimate prize- the two-player skyvern mount! The pack is now in the crowns shop for 399 crowns. Also, as part of pack-a-palooza, the nightmare and yuletide packs have been brought back for a limited time. Also, all packs are currently half off.
I have been doing really good on Wizard101. My character, Marissa Mooncloud, is currently a level 64. I am not trying to level her up right now, I am saving up for a house that I really want. I have 55437 gold out of the 100,000 that I need. The house that I am saving for is the Island Getaway.
For those of you that do not play Wizard101, the Island Getaway is this really fancy house. When you walk in the door, there is a beach with waves crashing, and there's a waterfall with a cave behind it .... It is just very beautiful and I NEED it. I am confident that I can get it because I have saved that amount of gold in the past with no problems. For some reason, this time it is taking me a lot longer to earn the money.
Well, I have 3 more math problems to do before the day is done, plus a lecture on Mark Twain, so I am going to end my think a thought here.
Later,

Wizard101 Pet Interview with My Dad
Today, I decided to interview my Dad about his highest level Wizard101 pet, the penumbra drake. This pet is an ultra-rare get from the Knights Lore Pack, available in the Crown Shop in-game for only 399 crowns. Let's see what Dad (Valerian Stormfist) has to say about his cool new pet:
Me: Hello, I am here to talk to you about your latest pet, the ultra-rare penumbra drake. I have heard that you have been leveling it up recently, correct?
Dad: Yes, I have been playing the pet games in the Pet Pavilion. Duke Spencer is doing well, he is a teen now.
Me: What pet game do you play the most? Do you have a favorite, one that you are particularly good at?
Dad:Um, I like to play the game where you shoot your pet out of a cannon at the phony castle.
Me: Grumpy Gobblers, one of KingIsles' latest pet games?
Dad: Yes. I also like the maze game.
Me: Has it been hard to train Duke Spencer up to his current level?
Dad: It has been pretty easy, actually. Surprisingly easy. He likes his pet snacks!
Me: Haha, so you are in for it as he gets older!
Dad: Maybe.
Me: Has your pet picked up any new spells and/or talents as he progressed in training?
Dad: Yes he did. Not only does he have the death trap card, which he came with as a baby, but he ALSO now has the dragonblade spell, which he casts quite regularly on his own accord.
Me: Any new Derby talents?
Dad: Yes, he's gotten the CLEAR Derby talent. It removes one negative from self for 15 seconds.
Me: Now that Duke Spencer is a teen, I assume you have raced him in the pet derby.
Dad: Not yet, but I plan to do so soon, as soon as he is an adult.
Me: Duke Spencer.. what an interesting name. Did he come with that name as a baby, or does it have some significant meaning to you?
Dad: He came with that name, actually. I usually name my pets after my daughter Madison.
Me: AWWWW! HOW SWEET IT'S ME!
Me: Well, that's about all the time we have folks. If you have a Wizard101 topic you want me to interview my Dad about, let me know in the comments. No topics that violate KingIsles' rules please.

Azteca Final Wizard101 Boss is Malistaire... AGAIN!!!
This is probably the last quest in the Morganthe storyline. For those of you who don't know, Morganthe is the woman who has tried to steal the secrets of the Astral schools and has made terrible curses upon different worlds. Azteca completes her final curse, "the skies will fall."
Malistaire has some cheats in this form, unlike any other boss' cheats. He is immune to all spells and schools until all his minions are defeated (he has 4). The same round his minions are defeated, Malistaire does a random amount of damage to himself.
Malistaire the Undying has not reportedly dropped any pets, unlike his Dragonspyre version, which drops several different crowns pets. He doesn't drop any mounts either, though his Dragonspyre version also does. (I am starting to like the Dragonspyre version better; less health and cooler stuff!!!) However, Malistaire the Undying DOES drop higher level gear and treasure cards. If the treasure cards are not your school, they can be sold for up to 1000 gold or more.
