House Showing!

I know that yesterday I promised everyone a pie recipe, but I just COULDN'T blog about pie when our house was getting shown! We found out late last night that our house was going to get shown, so today we had to rush around like crazy cleaning up our home for the showing. I did my room REALLY good (I even got a compliment from the relator ) and then helped Grandma with the rest of the house. By the time we were finished, the house was spic and span.

Then, I had to leave for karate. The showing would be done while I was still at karate, but Grandma and Ashleigh would be home for the viewing. Gail, our real estate agent, came an hour early for cleaning- but it was already done. Then, it was just waiting for the woman to come at 6. I didn't get to meet the lady, and all I know is that she is from Maryland. All I can say to that is- WOW what a move.

Other than that, today has been pretty normal- hanging with my sis, doing schoolwork, going to karate, etc.... and even now I have some schoolwork left to finish. I have recently fallen behind on my minerals, so I need to pick up the pace and get them done now.

TOMORROW I should be able to put out the recipe for the chicken pot pie.... and I cannot wait to share it with my readers, because it is very good and filling.... my mouth is watering just thinking about it....

Well, I'd like to finish the rest of my work now, so I am going to end this post here.

Wedge Sneakers

That's right- the title of this post is WEDGE SNEAKERS. Wedge sneakers are this cool new type of shoe I have been looking for. They are SO cool, and I really want a pair. Besides, my current pair of shoes has a hole in the bottom. However, since my feet are still growing, Dad says no shoes over $20... and the cheapest pair of these shoes I could find was $45! AND THAT WAS ON SALE!!!

So now I have been saving my money... Well, not really saving, because I just went out and bought my mom her Mother's Day present... I guess I should rephrase that to BANKING ON GETTING INTO A MAGAZINE. It takes Ruminate about 6-8 weeks to get back to someone, so I have a long wait ahead. I'd better get used to waiting... If I am not published, I have a long while to go before I can save $45.

When my family last went to the mall, me and Dad walked off for about half an hour to check EVERY SINGLE shoe store in the mall. No luck. The cheapest was $45, and the most expensive was $85. And guess what excuse the girl who tried to sell us the $85 pair gave us? "There is extra padding" OH REALLY? I DIDN'T KNOW THAT. THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING. JUST TO LET YOU KNOW.... THE OTHER PAIR HAD PADDING TOO!

OK. Below I have made a collage of the 4 pairs of wedge sneakers that I want most. Leave a comment saying what pair you like best. I will end my post here :)

(Oh, and Dad... If you are wondering where Lucky is, he is sleeping in my room tonight. He fell asleep when I was reading my book, and now Ashleigh is up there so... Yeah. Love you. Maddie)

Alright, as you probably guessed, I am publicizing another one of my Dad's sites... but honestly, he does put a lot of hard work into them, so even if you aren't going to buy something go check it out and spread the word to your sports-loving friends. It would mean a lot to both me and my Dad.

Here is a part of one of my Dad's posts. To read more, please check his site.
Thanks,
Maddie

I’ll be the first to admit that I am not a Phillies fan. Growing up in Central New Jersey, you were either a Mets, Yankees or a Phillies fan. While I rooted for both the Mets and the Yankees (they were in different leagues after all), I could never stomach rooting for the Phillies. With that said, I can still appreciate some of the great players they had in my youth…Mike Schmidt, Steve Carlton, Larry Bowa, Greg Luzinski. I’m sure there are others too. Philly was just too far away though so I never bothered with them. For you Phillies fans, here are a couple of great deals to keep you coming back!

Game Store

As promised, there is a new section in my store! I updated it this morning and now there are video game downloads! There is a download for just about ANY game you could imagine. Most of them are at decent prices too... I saw a download for SimCity4 Deluxe Edition for just $15! That seems like a great deal to me, as in stores the game can get up to prices of $60....

I'd like to, in the future, do some game reviews. If you happen to buy one of the games from my store, please comment down below and tell me how it works and if there were any issues.  Also, if you'd like me to review one of the games you love, please comment below and I will see what I can do. You will need to leave the name of the game, what genre it is, what game system, it's rank of difficulty on a scale of 1-10 (10 being toughest), and what age group you'd recommend the game for. If my store does not have a game you want, please tell me and I will try to fix it.

I've been counting my pageviews today, and I have almost 3,000! To celebrate, I decided I would put up the stats of the countries that have viewed my posts over the whole time my blog has been up. Here they are:
United States
2256

Canada
124
Germany
