In no time, Lucky was back to his happy-go-(lucky) self, and was frolicking and having a good time. I figured that heat affects the dog's mood, so if your dog is hot and sweaty, don't bother him/her. Give your dog an ice cube or 2, and watch their mood change. It's really good. It refreshes their whole body and keeps them from dripping saliva all over the place.
Also make sure your dog gets outside enough. While it might make him hot and sweaty, it gives him a lot of fresh air. It gives him good exercise, and makes sure he is in shape. You'll never have a fat dog if you put your dog out for a nice run in the yard or park once a day.
