Why can't you tell me
Why can't you be true
Do you think that I'll leave
Or stop caring for you?

I'll bet that your temper
Was what got in your way
And you think if you tell me,
There'll be no more to say

But I don't abandon 
For reasons like that
I'll stick through it all
I'm not just some rat

So please open up to me
Let me inside
Show me where all
Of your demons hide

I'll fight them all for you
But you won't let me in
You'll find if you do,
That our fun can begin.
