Weird Optical Illusions

Here are a few optical illusions I have managed to dig up. An optical illusion is something that looks like it's there, but isn't there. For example: This chalk drawing makes it look like a meteor hit in the middle of the sidewalk. A talented artist drew this realistic drawing to draw onlookers to his/her work.

 More common optical illusions include the famous Nescafe sign illusion, shown below. It seems as thought the smoke forms a nose. This could be unintentional, or a simple joke to make people laugh.

Some of the best optical illusions are after-images, like the one shown below. Stare at the four black dots in the picture for about 30 seconds, then look up at the ceiling. It's a different after-image then you expected ....
