You hurt and abuse,
Mistrust and misuse
Maker of tears,
Creator of fears,
I can tell you and tell you
Til I'm blue in the face
But excuse after excuse
Will my words replace
I can't stand the fighting,
The yelling, the pain
But if the sun starts to shine,
You just bring down the rain
You're either silent and deadly
Or flamboyant and cruel
No matter the day,
You must dominate and rule
I gave you a warning,
The third one this time
If you don't change your mind,
Then I'm out of your life.

Don't you see it in your glass?
Poison, poison,
As you walk from class to class
Red alert, red alert
The knives are cutting deep
Deep blue tears from yellow eyes,
Please don't listen to that creep

Yes these are
Where you find out things about each other
By the light of a star
When 3:00 am is never too late,
When the cars roll by just to seal your fate,
When you stay up lost in all your hate,
And the call of the night is dark and great
Nothing like this should have happened
No one this young should experience this...
A lack of love being reciprocated,
Leads to a misunderstanding of bliss
As you weave your life's story
As I sigh and absorb it all
I realize that everyone has problems
We just hide them behind our own wall.

Emotionally numb,
Calmness in my veins,
My eyes have lost all vision,
Like a driver when it rains
Now all I see 
In front of me
Is the blank wall,
Faded starch white from history
So close your eyes,
Close your eyes,
Let the clarity take you high,
Feel the air as it hits your face,
Wake up to the world,
Realize your mistake
Don't exchange your grace,
For a deadly embrace,
Don't define all your fears
Just to mask your tears
Just let go.

Such a poor choice,
Why would you do that?
You have a child to raise,
You're acting like a spoiled brat
In trouble with the law
And you're just sixteen
Just grow the hell up,
Look at the mess you have to clean
A price you'll have to pay 
For the rest of your life
Gave him all that,
And you won't be his wife
Why create innocence
Just to soil it with sin
Now there's no escape from this hell
That you put yourself in
I pray that one day
You will wake up and see
That life waits for no one,
Not you and not me
So make wise decisions 
Don't let anything hold you down
Because in the end, life's a circus

Into another headache

Why can't you take the fact,

The battle is done
You can't win something

I want to fly

I want to escape 

But I'm no superhero,

No powers or cape

My emotions keep me here,

I'm trapped by my tears

Surrounded by fear,

And scorned by the sneers

Ignore all the negative,
Let in only happiness
Yet if I try to accept depression,
All I find is the stress
It's time to let go of all pain and negativity,
I've learned this by and by,
It's time to start a new leaf,
To spread my wings and fly.
