Victorious Cast

Today I am going to tell you about my favorite TV show, Victorious. It is mainly about the life of a girl named Tori Vega ( Victoria Justice), who attends a school for those gifted with acting. Here are the cast members, and what my opinion is about them:

Tori Vega ( Victoria Justice)- What I think about her in real life and on the show aren't much different.I know she is a great singer, but on the show she is also kind of funny. Rating: Awesome

Andre ( Leon Thomas III)- Andre is an extremely talented keyboardist, and is one of Tori's best friends. He, like most of the cast, is funny, but sadly, he is not at the top of my list for favorite characters. Rating: Just OK

Jade West (Elizabeth Gillies)- Jade HAS to be my favorite character. Even though she can be mean,she is funny about it.She is very comical. Just because she is mean to everyone is funny. Rating: Near Perfect

Cat Valentine ( Ariana Grande )- Cat is very weird and light-headed. Her weirdness can be funny, but most of the time, you just can't understand. Rating: Good

Robbie Shapiro ( Matt Bennett)- Robbie is kind of the school geek. He carries a ventriloquist's puppet that has a mind of it's own. The PUPPET is funnier than him. Sorry Robbie. You're just the school geek. Rating: Just OK

Beck Oliver ( Avan Jogia )- Beck is Jade's boyfriend. That's about it. He is pretty boring.Sure, he has good looks going for him,but looks can't save his funniness. Rating: Poor

Trina Vega ( Daniella Monet )- Trina is Tori's stuck up older sister. Shelives in Trina's World, were everything revolves around Trina. She is selfish and self-centered.Rating: Poor

Rex Powers- Rex is Robbie's comical puppet that is carried everywhere with him. Rex is treated like a normal human being. He is the funniest person on the show, by far. Rating: Almost Perfect

Lucky Story

Hi. It's me, Lucky. I have not been having a good week. Two days ago, I got porcupined. In the chin! It hurt a lot. My mistress noticed after a few minutes, and let me in. I was very thankful when my master came downstairs and pulled my quills out. Porcupine quills are very, very painful. It is the second time I have had them.

Today has been going good for me. I have mostly taken a nap, and played outside a little. It is beautiful out there! It's a little hot because of my coat, but nevertheless, beautiful. I have heard my mistress talk about my bath ... my least favorite thing!

Do you want to know WHY my bath is my least favorite thing? Because this is how the "bath" goes:
Mistress: Lucky, come here boy!
Me: Gets up and goes over.
I walk over like a good boy, and what do I get?! A bucket of water on my head!!!!!
Mistress: Good Boy!

Well, I want my nap back.   Cya!

Fibonacci


Fibonacci  numbers report
 0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89,144,...

The Fibonacci number system springs from a man named Leonardo de Pisa. Most people call him Fibonacci.  Many years ago, he wrote a mathematics book, and in it, he wrote this question:
"A certain man put a pair of rabbits in a place surrounded by a
wall. How many pairs of rabbits can be produced from that pair
in a year if it is supposed that every month each pair begets a new pair from which
the second month on becomes productive?"
After some thinking on the question, Fibonacci came up with this sequence:
0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144…
This is what we call the Fibonacci sequence.

The Fibonacci numbers look something like what you see above.  The sequence repeats itself over and over again. If you look closely at the sequence above, you can see the pattern: add the number behind. An interesting fact about this very old sequence of numbers is that it also appears in nature. For example: Branches, ferns, pinecones, flowers, leaves, even snail shells!

Fibonacci numbers also appear in the description of the reproduction of a population of idealized honeybees, according to the following rules:
§  If an egg is laid by an unmated female, it hatches a male or drone bee.
§  If, however, an egg was fertilized by a male, it hatches a female.
Thus, a male bee will always have one parent, and a female bee will have two.
If one traces the ancestry of any male bee (1 bee), he has 1 parent (1 bee), 2 grandparents, 3 great-grandparents, 5 great-great-grandparents, and so forth. This sequence of numbers of ancestors is the famous and mind boggling Fibonacci sequence. The number of ancestors at each level is the number of female ancestors, which is Fn−1, plus the number of male ancestors, which is Fn−2. (This is under the unrealistic assumption that the ancestors at each level are otherwise unrelated.)

Lucky Puppy

Lucky has officially learned to bark! I was getting worried for awhile that he would be very silent, but in NJ, he got his ability to bark and growl! Now, when I put him outside on his chain, he will bark for help! I am pretty psyched about this.

Lucky has also learned a good few tricks. He can now do a new command: Kissies! ( Guess who taught him that one.) I have also been working on roll over. He is getting it, slowly but surely.

Part 2

Anyway, as I promised the poem will be posted in a Think A Thought. So here is The Treasure in My Mind, by Mr. Wayne.

The Treasure In My Mind

Some men live life for money, and some quest after gold.
What's treasure to a young man, may not be when he's old.

In my twenties,I chased the dollar, real estate and gold.
In my thirties, it was stocks and bonds that I brought into the fold.

Now that I am older, it is memories I cherish.
Since they are the only thing that go with you when you perish.

So I hoard memories like a miser, and get more every day.
The treasure that is in my mind, makes life richer in every way.

Some men die with lots of money, and some with none at all.
It doesn't really matter, when Abaddon comes to call.

So I'll fill my head with memories, of happiness, life and love,
Because the treasures in my mind, are the only allowed above.

This poem is what I deem worthy enough to be put on  a Think a Thought. I am honored that such a dedicated poet took time to enter my simple and lowly contest. THANK YOU, MR. WAYNE!!!!!

Think a Thought Delays

I am sorry about the delay in Think a Thought. A death occurred in the family, and I had a lot to do in the past 2 weeks. The funeral and wake took up the weekend, and I had a lot going on. NJ trips are usually relaxing and not stressful, but the death of my beloved Grandpa was tragic. On Sunday, the wake was held. Hundreds of people showed up to pay their last respects. Some I knew, but 3/4 were strangers. I was amazed.

Monday: The funeral. It was held at a small church, St. Mary's Chapel. Not as many people showed, but still, a lot came. I spoke a line from Job, and my aunt did a wonderful eulogy. Then, I got to ride in a limousine with my two great aunts, aunt, and grandma to go to the cemetery. After that was an after-ceremony at my aunt's house.

The rest of the week was pretty good. I went to the beach and collected tons of crab claws. I went shopping a couple of times for an Easter outfit. Lucky had a great time on THREE puppy playdates. Easter was very good as well. I had a great time in NJ this trip, but there have been better visits. Funerals and wakes do not add to a relaxation visit.
