Happy Official Birthday, Dad!

Dad, finally, today is your official birthday! I predict that life will take an uphill turn, and that things will get better for you. You are now 46. Life WILL be better. I know that you'll get some clients soon. The banking online system will be fixed and will stop screwing up your bank account. Lucky will get trained properly. Things will go YOUR WAY.

I will try hard not to fall behind in my work. I am sorry for doing this in the past. I want you to have the best birthday ever, and I am going to try hard to make it the best. I know that you've been facing many different difficulties, but these will go away with time. (Or I at least hope they will!)

So Dad, Try to:
RELAX

HAVE SOME FUN

DON'T BE AFRAID TO BE YOU, EVEN IF IT IS EMBARRASSING.

That about covers it :) so Dad, happy birthday, once and for all.

Loads of Love,
 Maddie

My Poor Sister

My sister is sick! She had a temperature of 100.1 degrees today when we took her temperature. She wasn't feeling very good. I gave her a special mix of water and lemonade because she was so sad. I set up a bed for her on the couch before I went to my bible study, so that she would be comfortable.

When I came back from my bible study, the bed was messed up and my sister was in for a nap. So I made the bed again, and have another drink ready for her. I want to be the best sister in the world and help her get through being sick. I don't think I'll be doing karate tonight if she wakes up with a high temperature again.

Well, speaking of which, my sister is just starting to stir!  I better go and get her, as Dad is dealing with important business right now.

So long,
Maddie

Ashleigh's Dream ... Plus Happy Presidents Day!

Happy Presidents Day! ( How many more stupid holidays can this world come up with? ) I mean, what's even the point of it? Sure, so George Washington and Abraham Lincoln were born near the same day, but not on it. It's not even on one of their birthdays! What is the big attraction?

OK, onto the dream

Ashleigh saw herself running. She was looking for her favorite drink, milk. She knew it was in her cup, but she didn't know where her cup was. She decided it must be in the fridge ... But she couldn't open the fridge! It was still too big for her. Then, she remembered she was in a dream. " Well," she thought, " If I am in a dream, I can do what I want! I will walk through the refrigerator, get my cup, and come out."

So Ashleigh ran into the fridge, and went right through the door. She looked around for her cup, and saw it on the shelf. She grabbed it and tried to get out of the fridge, but she couldn't. She screamed, but no one could hear her.

Ashliegh decided that since she was stuck, she should keep her blood pumping and eat. There was a delicious chocolate cake smothered with icing in the fridge, so she started eating. She was so engrossed in the cake that she didn't even realize it when her sister opened the fridge and saw that her sister had ate the cake. She gave Ashleigh the LOOK, and Ashleigh was scared out of her dream.

Lucky Story

Today has been a good day for me. I have eaten, slept and even played a little with the alpha male. Then, my mistress came down and played with me for a bit. I got to go up to the main section of the house. The main section is the best part. It has chairs to jump on, food bits on the floor to lick, and the best smells. Besides, if I sit there long enough, I get human food!

Unfortunately, when the alpha came in and saw me, my fun ended. He sent me out, because whenever I am in there, I beg. Besides, the little mistress, the annoying one, was about to eat, so I would get kicked out anyway. Ah well, it was fun while it lasted. I am always kicked out, but I usually am let back in after meals.

Now my master is calling me, and I am going to get to go in the car! I love car rides with my master, as they are always exciting. I think he mentioned something about going to the grocery store, and every dog knows what that is! The food store!!!!!! Well, I gotta go, so bye!

Ice Skating

Hello Think A Thought readers! Today, I am going to go ice skating for the second time! The last time I tried, I looked like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to skate, but now I am getting the hang of it. I had to use tied together crates to start off, but now I can kind of skate on my own.

At first, I was afraid. I did not want to fall. So I held my nanny's hand to start. But then I started to skate on my own. I can't go fast, but I can sort of walk along. Today, I hope to practice skating on my own. I think I am pretty good at it.

The main trick to ice skating is not to slow down all the time. I do it a lot, and usually it ends with butt meeting ice. Trying to slow down trips you up, and if you don't move with the ice, then you fall. Falling doesn't hurt, it just surprises you.

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day, readers! It's a day early, but I love to spread holiday cheer. What will be your highlight? Seeing family? Spreading love and cheer? Or those delicate chocolate candies that come in pretty boxes ... my personal favorite. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten my valentines out yet. I haven't even bought valentines yet ... I better get moving if I want to give them out tomorrow!

I go to bible study, and for holiday's we usually each cook something and bring it in. For Valentine's Day, I am going to bring in pretzels covered with pink white chocolate. Here is the recipe.

You will need:
1 bag white chocolate chips
Red food coloring
Red sugar sprinkles
Wax paper
Twisted pretzels

Prep:

Melt the white chocolate. Then, in a bowl, mix it with desired amount of red food coloring for color. Next, dip pretzels into the white chocolate mix, then lay them on wax paper. Sprinkle desired amount of sprinkles over. Freeze for a few hours, and then enjoy.

I hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day. I know I will.
